3rd ANNUAL ANGEL TREE

Once again, Probation staff came together to make
the holidays a little brighter for children involved

with Child Welfare Services/Court Appointed Special
Advocate (CASA) Program. The holidays are a time of
giving and sharing. This year, officers, support staff

and treatment providers opened their hearts to take
part in the Angel Tree program through CASA Santa
Barbara County. Angel Tree is a program which
fulfills wish lists from children who currently are in
foster care due to abuse and/or neglect. Staff were

provided the opportunity to pick a name from the
Angel Tree and purchase a gift for the child ranging
in ages from 0-18 years of age. DPO Martha Mera

spearheaded and coordinated the effort with the
CASA program. In total 33 Angels participated in this
year’s event!
